Kitley House Hotel is delighted to continue its long-standing relationship with The Candlelight Theatre Company of Torbay into 2007. This is the seventh season of Murder Mysteries at Kitley and their popularity continues to grow. The format for the evening is very simple starting with a Cocktail Reception at 7.00pm when the actors assume their roles.
The 3-course Dinner follows during which the actors develop the cunning plot and "accidents" do and will happen. The murder(s) are enough to test even the greatest detectives but are you up to it?

Whilst the meal is a set menu there are always options for Vegetarians and Special Diets. Please also advise of allergies. Groups are also welcome both to join with other guests and independently (although minimum numbers may apply). Guests are also able to stay over and take advantage of our seasonal rates.
Murder Mystery FAQ's
WHAT HAPPENS AT ONE THESE THINGS..?
Whilst you sit down to a delicious dinner with a chilled glass of wine, our actors will lay the clues that you have to unravel. A murder will take place and it's up to you to investigate and accuse a suspect.
The action starts over pre dinner drinks and concludes over coffee. Guests are encouraged to join in although no one is given a particular character. And it's fine by us if all you want to do is sit back, relax and let us do all the work.
We have a number of stories so if you book again you will never see the same murder twice!
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Well that's up to you. We tend to encourage smart evening wear but if you want to go the whole hog and wear bow tie and ball gowns, then great. We also do themed evenings where appropriate dress is an advantage!
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I INVITE?
We are happy to perform for numbers from 35 - 60 at Kitley House
IS IT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?
We always welcome children but in our experience under 10's don't really understand what's going on and can become upset...
