WELCOME TO RESTAURANT DINING AT
KITLEY HOUSE
Since I arrived a Kitley in 2006 I have been constantly surprised
at the number of local people who were not aware that the Restaurant
operates all year round. Admittedly Friday and Saturday nights do
present a challenge with most fully booked a long way in advance
by weddings...however nothwithstanding this fundamental part
of Kitley we do operate a popular and pleasant dining experience
for the rest of the week - including Sundays and Mondays when others
choose to close!
The Dining Rooms
There are three Dining Rooms at Kitley House where the Restaurant
operates. The usage varies in line with anticipated and confirmed
booking levels. The Library is a large magnificent burgundy
room with ornate marble pillars and open fire during the Autumn
to Spring period. It overlooks the Trout Lake and in summer
opens out onto the Terrace. The Regency is a mid size room with
an ornate fire pace and views over the Fountain Garden. The
Drawing Room is quite intimate and used when booking levels are
quite light or the other rooms are full. The rooms used for your
dining will be decided around two weeks prior and updated on our
website restaurant booking facility.
Breakfast though to Dinner!
Yes the Dining rooms are open for 18 hours a day! Our Regional
and National Award winning Breakfast
is there for residents - but we also welcome local residents occassionally.
Morning Coffee with our range of European Coffees and Teas is popular
and can be taken anywhere in the building. Lunch
has recently changed and in response to guest requests we now offer
a full menu from Monday until Friday as well as our popular Lounge
Menu. Afternoon Tea has become
very popular at Kitley - so much so that for regular customers
we have added the booking facility to our website to secure your
table! Dinner
can be taken from 6.30 until 9.30pm and as you can see from
the menu's offers a range of local produce cooked imaginatively
- but without fuss - by our experienced chefs.
