Terms and Conditions

No booking or enquiry made on this website or on any other website operated by the Kitley House Hotel constitutes a guarantee or promise of a service or product.

Whilst every effort is made to keep our websites as up to date as possible, any information displayed on this website cannot and should not be acted upon without checking with the hotel directly.

ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS

A non-refundable deposit of £20.00 is required for all accommodation bookings. This will be taken at the time of booking by credit card or by cheque within 3 days. In the event of cancellation this may be used against a booking within 3 months. Non-arrivals will incur a full charge.

WEDDINGS

Written Confirmation and £500.00 deposit is required to confirm all provisional wedding bookings. Bookings cancelled less than 6 months prior to date booked deposit will be non-refundable. If the booking is cancelled more than 6 months prior to the date booked the deposit will be refundable subject to the date being re-sold for another function. Marquees weddings are subject to the hotels approval, with recommended agents and suppliers. Final chargeable numbers required 7 days prior to wedding date. Table plan to be provided by guest three days prior to arrival indicating vegetarian, special diets and children meals clearly. Minimum number of 65 adults required for all Saturday weddings (March-Oct). All 19 Bedrooms need to be booked for Saturday Weddings (March-Oct), any vacant rooms will be charged on a room only basis of £75.00 per room. All weddings are accepted on basis of prepayment six weeks beforehand. Proforma invoices will be raised from your original booking date. Payment is required on departure for all outstanding charges. Refunds will be by cheque within one week.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR WEDDINGS

For any bookings cancelled more than 6 months prior to the wedding date, the deposit will be refundable subject to the date being re-sold for another function. If the booking is cancelled less than 6 months prior to date booked, the deposit will be non-refundable.

b. Any Cancellations will be required in writing to the General Manager of the hotel as soon as possible.

c. Any wedding cancelled less than 12 weeks prior to the wedding daye will be charged a cancellation fee on loss of earning incurred by Kitley House Hotel. This will equate to 75% of the latest proforma invoice or estimate less VAT.

The hotel is conscious of the difficulties that can arise for the Client in the event of cancellation. With that in mind, it is strongly recommended that the Client takes out special insurance. This can be arranged through the hotel and the details of the cover and premium can be obtained on request. Tariffs start from £55.00.

CONFERENCES & BANQUETING
